Because we love pets!  Personal Philosophy:  All animals, including farm animals are sentient beings who feel the range of emotions that humans' do.  They deserve our reverence and protection and returned loyalty.  It is a contract of faith and trust your animal has in you. I've spent 16 years as a being a hands-on rescuer and animal advocate in Philadelphia in the Fairmount/Brewerytown area; although I've been a life-long animal lover, who as a child brought home street animals while growing up in New York City. I have current client's whose dogs I personally rescued over the years and all 9 of mine critters (2 dogs and 7 cats_), are personal rescues from the surrounding streets.  Working at the rescue, volunteer and hands-on level, with city organizations, animal rescue shelters and local animal advocates has provided me with a broad range of  experience with a variety of sizes of dogs and cats.  I am a member of The Humane Society of the United States, ASPCA,  PETA, Farm Sanctuary and The Animal Defense League.
